Why a single-page static website?
...and not use the latest JavaScript/TypeScript/PHP/Python/Ruby/Perl/ASP.NET/Java/Go/Rust/LOLCODE/Brainfuck web framework or static code generator? Well, I'd like to adhere to the shared 'KISS' philosophy of the following people:
- "We may assume the superiority [when other things being equal] of the demonstration which derives from fewer postulates or hypotheses", Aristotle (384–322 BC)
- Occam's razor, William of Ockham (1287–1347)
- "Brevity is the soul of wit", William Shakespeare (1599–1601)
- "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication", Clare Boothe Luce Does not seems to have been a direct quote from Leonardo da Vinci. (1931)
- "Playing football is very simple but playing simple football is the hardest thing there is", Johan Cruyff (1947–2016)
- On maintaining proper time management, H. Rhodes (1985)
- On maximizing agile software development, B. O'Reilly (early 1990s)
